ARCA Welcomes Katherine Dionne

“I have a passion for the arts, cultural policy and especially for advocacy. I am excited to participate in facilitating support and resources for artists and artist-run centres, as they have been an integral part of my journey as an artist myself.”

ARCA is excited to announce our new Programming Coordinator, Katherine Dionne who will be working with us on many new initiatives and our upcoming conference “Pathways Together” taking place in Winnipeg in October 2023. Katherine is a multimedia artist and a graduate of the DAN School of Drama and Music at Queen’s University. Katherine holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Music and a Graduate Diploma in Arts Management. Originally from Québec, Katherine now resides in Kingston, Ontario and has been involved in the arts community participating in theatre, music and visual arts for more than ten years. A trained lyric mezzo-soprano and professional musician, she completed part of her degree abroad in England, where she immersed herself in the arts culture of London. She completed an internship at the Venice Biennale in 2019, where she worked in the Canada Pavilion. Katherine recently worked with the Kingston Arts Council handling administration, communications and marketing. Katherine is working with ARCA now and will be engaging in all forms of public actions moving forward.
