Expanding on the first edition organised and hosted in October 2012 by LIVE, Vancouver, BC, the second meeting has invited a few more artist-run centres and collectives to deepen the discussion on networking presenters in order to better support performance art practices and their artists.<\/p>\n<p>Organisations, artist-run centres and biennials invited to attend this meeting include\u00a0: VIVA! Art Action (Montr\u00e9al), Neutral Ground (Regina), Open Space (Victoria), Art Nomade (Chicoutimi), Performatorium: Festival of Queer Performance (Regina), OFFTA (Montr\u00e9al), Galerie Saw (Ottawa), 7a*11d (Toronto), LIVE International Performance Art Biennale (Vancouver), Rencontre internationale d\u2019art performance de Qu\u00e9bec, VISUALEYEZ Festival (Edmonton), M:ST (Calgary), FADO Performance Art Centre (Toronto), J\u00c8-ST\u2019 (Moncton), and the artist-run centres and collectives conference (ARCA).<\/p>\n<p>ARCA was proud to have supported the production of a <a title=\"Performance Art Presentation in Canada Today: A Summary\" href=\"http:\/\/www.arca.art\/en\/events\/performance-art-presentation-in-canada-today-a-summary\/\">summary <\/a>of the first meeting by participant Stacey Ho, published in the\u00a0 2013 fall issue of INTER.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Biennale d\u2019art performatif de Rouyn-Noranda, operated by L\u2019\u00e9cart, is hosting the 2nd edition of the Performance art networking meeting bringing together some twenty organisations from across Canada.
