Artist-Run Centres – Canada Council for the Arts
ARCA has invited the Canada Council for the Arts to conduct an information session about their new innovation fund and its various components. This session will be taking place on April 6th, 2022 at 4:30pm NST / 4pm AST / 3pm EST / 2pm CST / 1pm MST / 12pm PST. ARCA is seeking participants who are interested in applying to the fund. This session will provide answers to any questions regarding the goals and aspirations of the funds.
ARCA envisions the new innovation fund as an opportunity for all artist-run centres to engage in developing stronger, and more equitable, inclusive and sustainable arts sectors in their regions as expressed previously by the Canada Council;
“The Canada Council for the Arts is excited to announce our new Strategic Innovation Fund. More than $200 million has been committed over the next five years to build a more resilient, sustainable, connected, inclusive and equitable arts sector. Our goal is to support a range of artists and arts organizations, throughout their innovation journeys, to create meaningful change in the arts sector and beyond. If you are interested in learning more about what kinds of projects are eligible, how to apply and more, visit the Innovation Grants page on our website.”
ARCA wants you to register and attend this event as a way of supporting the preparation of your exceptional project plans.
