Book Launch — The Grey Guide to Artist-Run Publishing & Circulation as part of 8e de Page Event (Montréal)
As part of a 2017-2018 canadian launches tour, Artist-Run Centres and Collectives Conference (ARCA) will showcase The Grey Guide to Artist-Run Publishing & Circulation at “Huitième de page – Journées de dialogue”, an event organized by Arprim and Collectif Blanc around printed publication as a space for collaboration and experimentation. The book launch will be held on Saturday January 13, 2018, from 5 pm to 7 pm, in the former Format bookstore (2, St. Catherine St. East, Room 301, Montreal). Anne Bertrand (ARCA’s director), Felicity Tayler (author) and Annie Lafleur (designer and strategist) will be present at the event.
On the same day, at 11 am, ARCA’s Director will take part in a participatory roundtable discussion on creative constraints and collaborative processes. Various speakers from the art milieu (artists, designers, publishers) will speak about the issue: Céline Huyghebaert, artist, author and doctoral student in arts studies and practices at UQAM; Maxime G. Langlois, publisher and co-director of Possibles Éditions; Anouk Pennel, graphic designer and co-founder of Feed Studio, and Felicity Tayler, Grey Guide’s contributing editor.
Looking forward to seeing you there! Share the event in your network!
